The next Parkinson's Good Start Program will be hosted in Auburn on Thursday, February 27th from 1- 4pm at Opelika Methodist Church. This education program is for anyone newly diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

About the event
This program is funded by the American Parkinson Disease Association and is led by members of the UAB Comprehensive Movement Disorder Clinic for anyone that has been diagnosed with Parkinson's within the last three years. This afternoon is filled with education to help you get a Good Start to Living Well with Parkinson's. You will be provided with an overview of Parkinson's disease, including symptom education and treatment options. You will also be taught how to build your Parkinson's health care team and be introduced to local therapists and providers who specialize in working with Parkinson's patients.
